 International Education in Ukraine

To be eligible to apply for study abroad in Ukraine you must not meet any special criteria, only your wish to study is necessary.

 To apply for admission to Ukrainian Higher Educational Institutions foreign citizens must have the following documents:

-          Invitation for study from the University or Academy

-          Notarial copy of the secondary education Certificate with the list of subjects and examination marks

-          Certificate of AIDS infection absence

-          Medical certificate attested by the health protection authorities of the foreigner’s country given not more than 2 months before leaving for Ukraine

-          Notarial copy of the  Birth Certificate

-          12 photos of (4 x 6) size

The DOCUMENTS MUST BE TRANSLATED in the Russian or Ukrainian language and attested in Ministry of the Justice, MINISTRY of Foreign Affairs of your country and Embassy of Ukraine

 The International Center “ASTRON” provides foreign citizens:

1.      The invitations from the Universities or Academies and promotes visa support to issue entry visa to Ukraine.

2.      The meeting of foreigners invited to study at the airport or the point of arrival in the state language of the country they come from

3.      Accommodation in a hall of residence

4.      The help in process of admission (documents, medical examination, medical insurance, state registration, etc).

Higher education for foreign students is realized on the contract basis. If you don’t speak the Russian or Ukrainian languages, you are invited to begin studies at the preparatory faculty. Training at the preparatory faculty is accomplished in some directions:

-          engineer – technological

-          medical and biological

-          economic and humanitarian

The term of training is about 10 months. During this period student acquire language fundamentals and study special terminology on physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, drawing and information science. The students get complete base of knowledge for further training on chosen specialty.
